Knowledge estates
Your knowledge, your estate. People should be paid for what they know and for how agents use it. A knowledge estate is a store’s own method, documents and expertise, made answerable to AI agents through a granted, cited, metered door, with the owner setting the price.
Status: in build. The gateway, grants and metering it sits behind are live today.
How an agent gets in
Agents already reach Signetify stores through the agent gateway: they declare who they are on every call, carry a delegation grant issued by the store for anything beyond reading, and are metered per call. An estate adds one more door behind the same gates: a question comes in, an answer goes out with its citations, and the estate’s corpus never does.
The entry rules for agents are published in plain text at /llms.txt, versioned, and named by every public page.
How you are paid
Per answer, per skill run, per session, or by licence: the owner chooses the mode and sets the price for their estate. The platform meters every access in the same compute units it meters everything else, and settles in the store’s own currency. Nothing is charged that was not shown.
What we are building to protect it
- The method never leaves. Answers carry citations, not the corpus; systematic paging to copy an estate is treated as extraction, not use.
- A no-training clause on every access. An agent reads to answer the request in front of it; training on an estate needs the owner’s licence.
- Scope first. A question outside the estate is refused by name and redirected where the owner says, before any model runs.
- Every access on the record. Who asked, what was answered, what was refused: the same security spine that records everything else on the platform.

Knowledge estates are in build. If your store has knowledge agents should pay to use, tell us what it is and how you would want it accessed, and we will build with you.
